Marcelo Pereyra
Started his guitar studies with Roberto Calvo and continued with renowned
Esteban Morgado (various years). Took guitar lessons with artists like
Wynton Marsalis, Pereyra Lucena, Anibal Arias, etc.). Promoted at the
Music College in Avellaneda and continued his studies with important
musicians such as Rodolfo Mederos, Rodolfo Alchourron, Hugo Romero, Lito
Valle, etc.
Marcelo studied the guitar and jazz harmonies with the artists Ricardo Lew
and Armando Alonso. He now works as a guitar-solist and composer and
arranges his own themes of Jazz, Tango, Bossa Nova, etc. He also works as
a music teacher and gives classes for guitar and harmony-studies.
He formed the Tango-Quintett "La Pieza Clave" and toured with it
throughout Argentina and Latin America. He played the guitar for renowned
singers such as Carlos Lasalle, Enrique Dumas, Manuel Villalba, Patricia
Andrade, etc.
In the Tango-Duo "El Amanecer" he plays the guitar and acts as composer.
Together with the pianist Diana Ginzburg, they have been touring
successfully through various european countries and cities.
